Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PrintedSimply API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. API Usage & Access

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the PrintedSimply API for the purpose of submitting print orders, retrieving product information, and managing fulfillment workflows. You must:

• Keep your API keys confidential and not share them with unauthorized parties
• Use test mode keys (ps_test_*) for development and live keys (ps_live_*) for production only
• Respect published rate limits (60 requests/minute for free tier, higher for paid tiers)
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the API
• Not use the API in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

3. Account Registration & Security

To use the API, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including API keys. You must notify us immediately at support@printedsimply.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. PrintedSimply is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your credentials.

4. Payment Terms

PrintedSimply's Free plan has no monthly fee — you pay product and shipping prices per order. Premium is an optional $29/mo subscription that raises your API rate limits and support level.

• Your checkout or live-order quote shows the amount charged before production begins
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Order pricing is determined by product type, quantity, and shipping method at time of order. There is no platform fee, card-processing surcharge or seasonal peak-postage surcharge. Any applicable tax is shown separately
• Premium is billed monthly while the subscription is active
• Refunds for defective products are issued at PrintedSimply’s discretion after review
• Unpaid balances may result in API access suspension

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to artwork, designs, and creative assets you submit through the API. By submitting artwork, you represent that you have the right to reproduce and distribute the content. PrintedSimply does not claim ownership of your designs.

• You grant PrintedSimply a limited license to use submitted artwork solely for production and fulfillment
• Artwork files are fetched from your provided URLs and used only for printing the ordered products
• PrintedSimply will not use your artwork for marketing, display, or any purpose beyond fulfillment
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your designs do not infringe third-party rights

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. Prohibited activities include:

• Submitting content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes intellectual property rights
• Reselling API access or creating derivative API services without authorization
• Automated scraping or bulk data extraction beyond normal API usage
• Attempting to access other users’ data, accounts, or API keys
• Using the Service to send spam, phishing content, or misleading communications
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service infrastructure

7. Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process order data, shipping addresses, and account information solely for fulfillment and service operation purposes. 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintedSimply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. PrintedSimply reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your API keys will be deactivated
• Pending orders already in production will be completed and shipped
• You remain responsible for charges incurred prior to termination
• 30 days after your account is closed, your personal data is anonymized; order records are kept as described in our Privacy Policy

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered account address at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
